This sphere measures 3.3″ in diameter and weighs 2.5 Lbs. Made from Septarian Stone, mined and polished in Madagascar. This large sphere features beautiful sections of yellow calcite trimmed with dark amber outlines. Septarian stone, also known as Septerye and Dragon Stone, is a concretion created from multiple minerals. The sandy colored sections are Limestone, the host stone. Over time cracks in the stone are filled with calcium, which crystalizes into Aragonite and Calcite in distinct brown and yellow bands. Septarian crystal is said to resonate with the root chakra.
