Information about the Arboreal Salamander: The Arboreal Salamander is a member of the Plethodontidae family native to California and Baja California. It can be found in oak woodlands and dense chaparral. It can also be found in urban environments in cold, damp areas. Some adults have yellow or gold splotches, but they can also one solid color of brownish-gray.
